Indirapuram Grocery Stores

I recently shifted to Indirapuram. Grocery Stores or Kirana wala or Ration wala or daily needs shops or you call it any thing else, the shop or store is of most importance in our day to day life. Although we do not pay much attention to grocery shops but its importance becomes very critical when we are not able to find it. My husband is into security field and we recently got shifted from Agra to Indirapuram. I wont call it as well planned city because its roads are narrow in comparison to the population.  Most of the people in the city belong to corporate world and they commute to Noida or Delhi in the morning. Traffic conditions is really pathetic during morning and evening hours.

When we shifted to our rented flat, we were looking for local grocery store in nearby area. There was one small shop in our residential complex but it was closed. We walked for few minutes on the local street and found two stores for daily needs. I asked shopkeeper whether he does home delivery. He said yes we do deliver within 3 Kms of range. This made me very happy and I pulled long kirana list from my pocket. Although we were able to get 90% of the stuff and daily need items. I purchased remaining things from super market on the very next day.

Indirapuram has many high rise towers. Some of the residential societies have their own small market which caters basic stuff of our needs e.g dairy shop, medicines, gift shops, halwai  etc.

Aditya mall also has supermarket Bigbazar where you can go and buy all necessary things. Food bazar is also there in Shipra mall. If we plan to to do the shopping from super market then it is cumbersome because of finding parking space and long queues hence I prefer ordering over the phone. 

Grocery stores and food coupons

Some of the local kirana store do not accept coupons hence I try to avoid them. We get coupons on monthly basis hence I try to use these coupons while shopping for grocery. Some of the shopkeepers do accept it but they are restricted to food item only. If we buy detergent or toothpaste then they dont accept it. Still it helps me and go for shopping.

Placing kirana orders on phone

Now I place the order at the beginning of the month and store keeper delivers items in few hours. This saves my time and effort.  The problem in phone order is that sometimes the shop wala delivers wrong item because of some confusion.
